The Orange Surf

A photo of a solid-body offset style electric guitar laid on a concrete background. The body is natural wood finished, stained orange, it has a white pearlescent pick-guard, into which are set two single coil pickups and a rotary pickup selector switch. It has a tremolo unit in the bridge. The neck is maple with a wenge fretboard.

In which I work on the frets for my prototype offset build, check out the nice Mastery bridge unit, and try coding up some of my own effects with the Hoxton Owl pedal.

A guitar neck sits on the workbench, with the fretboard covered in masking tape to leave just the ferts showing. Half the frets have black sharpie on them, waiting to be shaped, the rest are shiny where they've been worked on.
